Where is the Burn Run race held?It is held at the East Syracuse Fire Department #2, 148 Sanders Creek Parkway off Kinne Street, East Syracuse, New York 13057.
What time does the race start? How do I register for the race?You may print out the entry form and send it along with the appropriate entry fee (see entry form) to the East Syracuse Fire Department, 204 N. Center Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057. You may also register online. Last, you may register at Fleet Feet on Bridge Street, East Syracuse, on November 8th or on race day at the registration desk. (Increased entry fees apply to last minute entries.)
How do I make out my entry fee check?Please make all checks payable to the East Syracuse Fire Department. Checks made payable to other entities will be returned and will delay processing of your application.
What if my personal information was entered incorrectly?Email Leone Timing with your name and address, including the correct information.
How much is the kids' run?Kids' run is free and includes a competitor ribbon.
What if I want to run the combined 5 and 10K? Is there an additional fee?Just circle both runs on the registration form. There is no additional fee to run both races.
What time does registration open on race day?Registration opens at 7:00 a.m.
Can race teams sign up?Yes, please contact the race director for details.
Is this a USATF certified race?Both races are USATF certified. The 5K run is certificate #NY07071JG. The 10K run is certificate #NY12137JG.
When are the awards given? Can I run with headphones?Yes
Can I run with a stroller?Yes
Can I run with my dog?Unfortunately, no. This is a human event.
Are there water stops?Yes, they are strategically placed for runners' comfort.
Can I volunteer to help with the race?Yes! Volunteers are always appreciated. Please email the volunteer coordinator to offer your assistance.
What if I can't run but would like to make a monetary contribution?Please send a check for your donation made payable to the East Syracuse Fire Department, 204 N. Center Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Please include a note indicating your donation to the Burn Run along with a request for a tax-deductible donation acknowledgement showing your name and address.
What parking is available?Parking is available at the Bank of New York Mellon facility. Volunteers can direct you to the appropriate parking area.
